PONY BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL IN MASON SAYS GOODBYE TO DON JOHNS!

The State of Michigan, and the Mason Area, will see Don Johns step down as the Organizations President. Don has decided that after 28 years that it was time to step back and enjoy his time with the family. Having known Don for the past 25 years I understand the time and service he has given to the Mason League. Most people don't realize that the League Board members spend more time in the off season to get ready for the next season. Once the seasons get underway things get a little more normal.

The change will see the Mason League moving forward under the present directors. The day to day duties of the League will be handled by Ronnie Niesel Vice President and Mike Raab the Treasurer. Having worked with this Board for the past 25 years I know that the transition will be a smooth. There will be no changes in the great service this League has offered throughout it's history.

To Don we say, thank you for all you're done for the Mason League and for PONY Baseball her in Michigan.
