Baseball & Softball is back for the 2028 Olympic Games

This past month the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that baseball and softball will be on the Olympic Programme for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

In Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Japan beat USA in both the baseball and softball finals.

Baseball and softball have continued to enjoy global growth since the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

The 2028 Olympic Games will mark the seventh time baseball has been an official medal sport and for softball it will be the sixth time. Both sports will not be a part of the 2024 Olympic Games in 2024.
