MASON MID-MICHIGAN PONY FIRE UP FOR 2023!

On Monday, March 20 the MASON Mid-Michigan Pony League held their annual Scheduling Meeting. The Meeting was held at the Mason Middle School at 6:30 p.m. It was a very well attended meeting. The League Members received League information along with their 2023 Pony Rule Books, League Insurance information, League Board contact information.

League President Don Johns discussed what they were getting and how it would help all the members. He also reminded the members that Pony Baseball had voted to change the Age Cutoff Date back to April 30 starting with the 2023 season. He also reminded that Mason had decided to remain at the April 30 over the last few seasons. Mason did this so that all their players would be able to play.

Also on hand for the meeting was East Division Director Ritchie Clayton to discuss issues with the membership. He took time to discuss some of the Tournaments that have been scheduled for 2023. Also he asked for Leagues to look at possibly hosting Tournaments at their fields.

Dicks Sports also was in attendance and let the members know about their discount days. Plus Dicks also donated Baseballs for the League to tryout and test for them.

It was a very good meeting and we're all looking for some great baseball in the 2023 season!
