NZ DIVISIONS IMPACTED BY (COVID-19) SHUTDOWNS...

The impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is being felt by all of us here in the North Zone. Each Division has faced school, governmental, public meetings, concerts, clubs, movie theaters, restaurants, ball fields, gyms, and bar closings to eliminate the close contact of people. Each local league is facing some of those questions also. This is indeed a massive public issue. To the Local Leagues, the Parents and their Players, Managers and coaches it has happened and we will all deal with it.

PONY BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL has information in regards to the entire PONY family of Leagues around the world. How it will impact us now, and in the coming months, and of course at Tournament time.

I'm more interested in how ALL of you are planning to handle the issue as a local League. In most cases we're all in a Registration stage, be it just starting, halfway through or just finishing up. If you would let us know about your local plans, how you're planning on dealing with the season once we can all get back to the ball fields. Just take a minute and email what your league is looking at doing it. You can email at '[email protected]' to let me know. I ask that you give me your League name, city or town, and your plans.
