PINTO Machine Pitch in Garden City crowns TVA!

The Tri Village All Stars took home the Trophy Sunday afternoon in Garden City, MI. The four team Pool Play event saw great action over the three day Tournament. The Tournament played host to GARDEN CITY, MASON, WAYNE and TRI VILLAGE at Moeller Park in Garden City, MI. The event has been Hosted by the Garden City Youth Athletic Association for the past 10 years or more.

The Tournament got off to a quick start Friday, July 12 with Host Team Garden City downing Wayne 15-0 in Game 1. Next saw Mason falling to Tri Village 15-10 in Game 2. The Saturday schedule had Mason defeating Garden City 17-7 in Game 3. Tri Village handed Wayne a 20-0 loss in Game 4. Tri Village then handled Garden City 15-2 in Game 5. Mason then defeated Wayne 15-1 in Game 6.

The Sunday, July 14 Semifinal Games had Tri Village downing Wayne 20-0 in Semi 1. Mason then downed Garden City 15-5 in Semi 2. Garden City and Wayne squared for bragging rights with Garden City winning 15-1 for third and fourth play in the event.

The Championship Game showcased Tri Village and Mason with Tri Village coming out on top 15-8. The Tri Village All Stars take home another Championship in the Pinto Machine Pitch Tournament to put on their shelf.

We would like to Thank Ken Kibit and the Garden City organization for another great PONY Baseball Tournament. Without the Tournament Hosts and their helpers we wouldn't have any event. So we thank them again.
